Storage & Memory
- Minimum 50 MB available disk space
- Any RAM configuration (typically 8GB+)
- SSD recommended for best performance
System Features
- Display with at least 1280x720 resolution
- USB-C port (for installation)
- Trackpad or mouse for annotations
About M-Series Processors
Screenshoter is exclusively optimized for Apple Silicon (M-series) MacBooks. M-series processors provide:
- • Unified memory architecture for faster data processing
- • Dedicated media engines for screen capture
- • Superior power efficiency and thermal performance
- • Consistent hardware specifications across compatible models
Not Supported
Screenshoter is NOT compatible with:
- • Intel-based MacBooks
- • Mac minis with Intel processors
- • iMacs with Intel processors
- • Older M1/M2 variants with limited specifications
How to Check Your Mac
- 1. Click the Apple menu → About This Mac
This opens your Mac information window
- 2. Look for "Chip"
Should show something like "Apple M1", "Apple M2", etc.
- 3. Check the macOS version
Should be 11.0 or later
- 4. You're ready to install!
